RevenFlo works with Indeed.com to develop an open source tool for the syndication of job postings from CatGroupInc.com to Indeed.com. As a recruiting company, Catalyst receives much benefit from having their job postings appear on Indeed.com. Now they enjoy also the immediate stream of that content from their site to Indeed.com (so they are essentially publishing job postings on their site and on Indeed.com simultaneously).

RevenFlo achieves first page results for the term “Web Marketing” as of 8/23/07. This term is our broadest category, and we are proud to be represented as one of the major providers in this category. RevenFlo uses quality, transparent search marketing techniques as approved and promoted by the search engines themselves. (Addendum 8/24/07: Looks like we’ve settled on the second page about halfway down… You can imagine how competitively Web marketed the term Web Marketing is).

As of Friday September 21st, RevenFlo was result #5 on Yahoo for the search term Web Marketing Company. This is without any geography attached. We dominant search results in all three major search engines when you couple “Web Marketing” with our local geography. But considering that we ARE able to serve businesses remotely, it is nice to show up nationally for such an aggressive term as “Web Marketing Company”. Please note that results change regularly.

We just launched ShowellBlades.com. We’re very proud of it. The site is built in WordPress and utilizes all sorts of plug-ins from many different third parties (including Google and YouTube and more).

open source web development for bankruptcy attorney

This “new internet” is a place of freely exchanged information. Not only does Showell have an incredibly easy and functional way to edit the vast majority of content on his website, but other people can take and use and publish his content, and they can even add approved content to the site itself (by responding to one of his blogs with a comment).

Publishers can feed his articles into a news reader, they can publish his video on their website, or watch it at YouTube. They can download his free bankruptcy guide and print it and copy it as many times as they want to. The free exchange of information is a very powerful thing.

We are happy to announce the launch of BradfordLawyers.com.

What we accomplished here was to build a brand based on the areas of law most representative of and desirable to each of the Bradford brothers.

We also built the site in two separate content management systems with unique access for each brother. They each have the ability to add articles or edit content. And we have created a central control for an administrative staff member of the Bradford firm to do tasks as assigned to them.

We are proud to announce the launch of SE Miller’s new website SEMillerHomes.com.

“SE Miller builds fine homes of unique design and impressive construction. Shannon Miller’s academic study and practical experience are matched by his passion for building beautiful homes.” – That’s copy that we wrote for the SE Miller site. We are very pleased with this copy.

Notice how the copy demonstrates a brand. Notice the words selected, the tone of the language, and the perspective of subject. Notice the role these play in communicating SE Miller accurately, in communicating Shannon accurately, in so few words.

We did the same in the design. Notice the focus of design is on the impressive work of SE Miller – on both the aesthetics of the rooms and homes AND on their demonstrable quality of construction.

This site was built using the framework of an open source content management system – for ease of future content addition and editing. The system is php-sql driven and includes Javascript amid HTML and CSS for the creation of flash simulation and interactive photo gallery portfolios.

We’re proud to launch the site www.BestContruction4u.com.

Debra and Phillip Best, owners of Best Construction located in York County South Carolina, have decades of experience in the construction industry – having operated a successful framing business and served builders all over York County.

In building homes, they do much of the work themselves (as they are well qualified to do so). This lowers costs. But they are smart in how they use this surplus. They don’t just sit on it. They don’t try to go for “cheapest builders in town”. Instead, they put the money into upgrading the features of the home.

Each aspect of their production-style homes are upgraded (flooring, fixtures, molding, etc.). They are doing this in a world where others are doing just the opposite – cutting every corner to fight for the lowest price and to squeeze what margin they can.

RevenFlo’s job was to articulate and communicate this differentiation. We had to do this in the design and the content selection, organization, and production.

Debra and Phillip also wanted the ability to edit the content of any of their pages, and they wanted to be able to list houses that they had for sale and projects that they were involved in. They wanted to control this content with administrative ease, and did not want to have to pay us every time they wanted to add something to their website.

To accommodate this need, we built their site in a content management system and supplied them a back-end administrative area through which they could exercise control over the content on their website. To do so requires a little more investment up front, but in the long run the amount of money they will save is staggering.

We’re proud to launch CatGroupInc.com.

Greg from Catalyst came to us and essentially said, “I don’t need much, and I’m not too particular. I just need something that looks good and that I can use to post job openings on a regular basis. I want to be able to do it myself or have an administrative assistant do it. I don’t want to be paying a vendor every time I want to post a new job opening or make a change, etc.”

We replied, “We understand. We can do this for you.” A month later, we were launched.

We are proud to launch a temporary place holder site for ProLegalCopies.com.

Pro Legal Copy is a premium document services company with locations in Charleston, SC, Mobile, AL, Pensacola, FL, Lafayette, LA, and Savannah, GA. We are building a large site for ProLegalCopies.com, but in the meantime, we needed a placeholder site – a one-pager.

The one-page site had to:

  • demonstrate the new visual identity
  • demonstrate the brand concept (which in this case is simplicity + premium)
  • function to provide key information (contact information, locations, services)

See a blog about the project at RevenBlog.

We love Marshal Sandler around here. He’s like a virtual Hemingway or something. But instead of shooting sharks with a Tommy gun off the coast of the Florida Keys, he posts content off the coast of the conventional web.

Marshal is 70 some years old and is more connected and tapped into the “new web” (social bookmarking, RSS, 2.0+, etc.) than just about anybody I know. He is a connector of people, and his heart is in the right place. I don’t know if he’ll ever make money from the web, but I hope he realizes what he is making – something more important, something that we don’t even have vocabulary for yet, virtual connection, a network of talent and passions. We appreciate being a part of his happy madness.

Most recently, we created a screencast for him about social bookmarking, and how it can be used for business (good work, Joe!). See it here: View Screencast.

We’re proud to launch the blog Ecclesia Construction Mission Trips.

Ecclesia Construction is a construction company in Rock Hill, SC. They primarily build churches, and they are driven by the Christian faith and dedication of Jeff Whittle (owner). Jeff has recently begun mission trips to Guatemala. To share his experience and to encourage the participation of others, he wanted to launch a blog site. We launched as simple blog site (using WordPress) and attached it to his current site EcclesiaConstruction.com. Jeff now has the ability to publish content (text and pictures) about his experiences in Guatemala.
