About Imaging Associates

Imaging Associates (IA) is a leader in the refurbished ultrasound market, a cost effective alternative to new ultrasound systems. They have been supplying health care providers with high quality, refurbished ultrasound machines from GE, HP, Acuson and many other manufacturers for the past 18 years. They also offer high quality new ultrasound systems for cardiologists by ALOKA, the inventor of ultrasound, and from Mindray for the private practice urologist and OBGYN.

Imaging Associates has a Service and Repair division as well. It is staffed with experienced technicians with a vast knowledge of professional video equipment and ultrasound repair. All equipment undergoes a rigorous inspection, repair and refurbishment process to ensure that it is in original condition and operating at factory specifications upon resale. The Service and Repair division offers technical support as well as on-site repair and preventive maintenance.

Nature of the Situation

Imaging Associates came to RevenFlo with an existing website that needed to be updated in more ways than one. Not only did IA want a more streamlined and user friendly site, they wanted to utilize open source content management for an eCommerce site. Imaging Associates offers a variety of products and has a large inventory that changes frequently. RevenFlo needed to design and build a site that could accommodate frequent changes and a large inventory.

Web Strategy and Planning

Imaging Associates needed us to take content from the existing site and move it into a platform that would function as a website and an e-Commerce website. The new website needed to allow clients to place orders via the Internet. IA also wanted a site that employees could easily access and update with new products and industry updates. RevenFlo helped IA identify their goals, select the new website technology and we assisted in gathering and organizing all of the content that was needed for the updated website.

Web Design and Development

IA wanted to provide a more powerful user experience from a design and usability standpoint. In addition to the enhanced user experience, they wanted to perform better in search engine results too. The website was designed to accommodate both. We need a compelling aesthetic that was user friendly and offered built in SEO.

Web Maintenance and Training

RevenFlo provides maintenance service for Imaging Associates based on any request they have to make changes and upgrades to the site. We also offer training on an as needed basis to ensure they leverage all of the features their site offers.
