Iron River Building Group (IRBG) has been delivering quality custom homes to the Greater Charlotte metro region since 2003 – a residential construction company that specializes in remodeling, additions and new construction. Iron River works with people who want to build a unique home or remodel an existing home to better suit their lifestyle. Nature of the Situation
There was already a website in place when IRBG approached RevenFlo in need of an updated look and an enhanced web presence. They wanted to drive quality traffic to a redesigned website that offered greater functionality.
IRBG also wanted measurable goals in place that would allow them to analyze and track the results of their web marketing. Along with analytics IRBG wanted to rank higher in organic searches and to develop a strategy to get clients to move through the buying process online.
Iron River wanted enhanced ability for staff to control, contribute to, and use the website for content marketing, search engine marketing, social media marketing, pay-per-click marketing, and more. IRBG wanted all of these deliverables packaged in a bold, clean-looking site that offered an intuitive and easy to navigate interface that web savvy consumers have come to expect.
Nature of the Solution
RevenFlo proposed rebuilding the website with a “Web 2.0” open source content management technology. In this instance we recommended WordPress open source technology to allow IRBG to achieve their goals.
In addition to WordPress, we recommended incorporation of social media networks to allow the organization to connect more closely to their target market.
We also proposed a Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategy that would incorporate target keywords and geographic locations and result in higher search engine rankings.
In addition to the SEO, we wanted to incorporate content, link backs and open source technology for higher organic search engine ranking. We set up goals and objectives for a timeline, targeted completion date included training on the new website functionality.
Then, we established a budget and tactical strategy for a monthly activity/marketing program.
The site, www.ironriver.com, is live and features the updated and streamlined look that our client was seeking, along with the functionality that they needed.
When IRBG approached RevenFlo their website was in a static HTML format that we converted into a user friendly, easily navigable site with backend functionality that can be accessed and updated by the site owner as well as RevenFlo.
The updated site offers an interactive platform that creates the opportunity to engage prospects and track results. IRBG is able to actively make site updates and add content, which facilitates organic search engine optimization.
A Pay Per Click (PPC) campaign is in place and IRBG has taken ownership of managing the pay per click as a result of RevenFlo’s input and training. They are experiencing high rankings on their key terms and are still new in the SEO and PPC programs.
Moving forward, IRBG is planning to institute newsletter emails as well as venturing into social media. In addition to managing aspects on the site internally, IRBG has signed up for a monthly campaign that allows RevenFlo to continue to remain proactive in increasing SEO results.
