A small group of private residents, backed by Rock Hill’s city staff, has nominated Rock Hill for the 2015 GEC Cities Challenge. The award recognizes cities who support a local entrepreneurial ecosystem by embracing innovation, technology, and job creation. Cities who have over 50,000 residents and, at its core, a creative drive can be considered for the honor. Thanks to Knowledge Park, and the local community and business leaders, Rock Hill has transformed into a thriving city.
