The Rock Hill Economic Development Corporation (RHEDC) is meeting for their annual retreat in Old Town this week.  Jason Broadwater serves as a member on the committee and has been asked to speak at the retreat.  The RHEDC is very involved in growing business and the Rock Hill community as a whole.

Nature of the Situation

Peoples First has a strong customer base and an established online presence VISIT SITE.  They approached RevenFlo desiring to grow their presence in the marketplace, inspire contacts and facilitate relationships for existing clients as well as prospects.  In addition to creating a user experience, they wanted to:

• increase visitors to the site
• increase search engine presence
• better social media positioning
• increase prospects
• attract more informed prospects

Nature of the Solution

We assisted Peoples First in a web build previously.  We approached this project as an redesign and redevelopment of the existing site.   We wanted to upgrade the existing site, create a more comprehensive user platform, enhance the user experience and dovetail the launch with a web marketing program.

We redeveloped the commercial and benefits content of the site to make people aware of the comprehensive services the Peoples provides.  In addition to content, we created portals to insurance carriers that Peoples First works with.  In addition to the content development, we added a “Get a Quote” form to assist in capturing prospect information.  We essentially added to the user experience of the site while making it a more robust and Web 2.0.  The site now offers greater value to prospects and clients.

Web Strategy and Planning

RevenFlo offered a strategy to redevelop and launch an upgraded open source technology web site that would promote the brand and position them as the leader in personalized and local insurance providers.

Web Marketing Management

We launched a web marketing initiative that has a primary focus on positioning Peoples First in top search engine results for the market place they serve.  Peoples First has a lengthy history with the community and wants a web presence that rivals their word of mouth presence.  The next phase is to segue into the social media foray and to cross promote Peoples First with their website and selected social media outlets.

Web Maintenance and Training

We provide maintenance work for Peoples First on an as needed basis.  We are able to assist them with any update or changes they would like made to the site per their request.  In addition to maintenance we provided training to Peoples First staff on how to utilize the open source technology and how to yield the greatest results from an SEO and web marketing standpoint.

Jason Broadwater of RevenFlo spoke to Bank of York quarterly meeting on Tuesday, February 23, 2010. The topic was Web Marketing and Meaningful Use of the Internet.  Armed with a few years of analytics data on their site, the bank can now see how the thousands of people each month who use the site are using it, and can then explore ways to provide more value to their customers.

Leitner Construction Company (LCC) has been providing expert construction project management service for clients in the Church, Medical, Industrial, Institutional, Sports and Corporate fields for over 35 years.

The company was originally founded by J.D. Leitner in 1947 as a residential construction company serving York, Chester and Lancaster Counties SC.  In 1973 J.D.’s sons, Mac and Jimmy, joined the business and expanded into commercial and light industrial construction.

As LCC evolved, they positioned themselves as a reputable firm in general commercial construction for the northeastern upstate SC area.  Their mission to deliver a premium product at a reasonable price has resulted in Leitner benefiting from and established and thriving presence in their target marketplace.  In addition to their stellar business reputation, they are a respected corporate citizen in Rock Hill and York County as a whole.

Nature of the Situation

Leitner did not have an existing website when they approached RevenFlo to assist them in cultivating a web presence.  They wanted to create a website that offered a meaningful experience to visitors as well as showcase their work and grow different aspects of the business.  The site needed to offer visitors the ability to engage with Leitner and view existing projects.

In addition to establishing a professional looking web presence, LCC wanted a website that allowed their staff to go in and update information, add photos of new projects and publish information about new clients and projects.  The goal was to gain online positioning for Leitner in their target market and increase brand awareness.  LCC was also interested in growing their recognition in the private sector project side of their business.  They are frequently acknowledged for the public projects they managed and wanted to be recognized as a private sector construction services company as well.

Nature of the Solution

RevenFlo suggested building an interactive website in an open source content management system web technology that offered the functionality and navigability that Leitner was seeking.  We started with securing the www.leitnerconstructionco.com domain and building the site in WordPress.  This platform allows Leitner to make regular updates to the site.  Updating content keeps the site engaging and allows LCC to exercise greater control over the information of their site.  We found the perfect template for the design of the site and purchased it from StudioPress.

The new site allows Leitner to showcase their niche market expertise as well as promote the private sector construction management experience they have. The site was also designed to allow prospective clients to submit RFP’s and contact information to establish a point of contact for LCC.

RevenFlo also trained LCC employees on utilizing the website functionality, such as posting content and adding photos of completed projects with regularity and ease.  This offers the opportunity to organically increase search engine ranking as well as engage prospects with visual media.

In addition to building the site and training on usage, RevenFlo has managed some initial Search Engine Optimization activity following the site launch.  This activity is to make some initial progress to ensure that LCC is properly positioned on in search engines.

Leitner plans to continue to expand their web presence as they grow their business and reach a broader audience.

RevenFlo was approached by the Tuttle Company to design, develop and launch a stand alone website.  Their existing web presence was not a stand alone site and was under a corporate umbrella.  Tuttle wanted to achieve a greater web presence and establish a stand alone site that would feature their available properties, allow for content development and frequent content updates.  They also wanted to show up in organic search engine results and achieve higher search ranking.

Nature of the Solution

RevenFlo developed a website in the open source Web 2.0 Drupal technology.   The Drupal platform is robust and accommodates Tuttle”s varied needs.  We were able to design a site that showcases all of the properties, allows for frequent content updates by the internal staff and can achieve higher organic search results.  We also assisted in the content development and copy on the site.
