Typically, when leaders from organizations like Presbyterian Hospital, Duke Energy, and Mecklenburg County Government gather together, conversations are focused on overcoming public and private sector obstacles rather than personal ones. At this particular round table, however, local business leaders found themselves telling their stories of personal growth and achievement from a shared Outward Bound Wilderness Experience.</p>

<p>The Internet marketing professionals at RevenFlo created a searchable database identifying attorneys by practice or specialty. The feature allows visitors to the site an easy way to find an attorney who specializes in their particular area of need. The new database also gives individual York County Bar Association members the ability to manage their professional information. A login portal allows members to create, update, and manage their professional information as needed.</p>

While the York County Bar Association (YCBA) website has been providing its members a marketing platform by listing their names and affiliations for several years it did not allow for individual member management. The searchable database provides useful information to the public and brings prospective clients directly to YCBA members. RevenFlo Web Team is pleased to work with YCBA. <p>It had become apparent that the industry template no longer fit with the service and  integrity on which Hutchison Group built their reputation. They were in need of a website that would give them the ability to highlight their brand of investment professionalism as well as the human centric side of their organization.</p>

Built on a WordPress publishing platform, the new site easily allows for content management, SEO, event calendar postings, and, it integrates fluidly with social media. Professional photographs were incorporated in a rotating marquee featuring the HG investment team on the sites home page. Photos also accompany personal bios and the group&#8217;s history adding to the human centric aspect HG was craving.</p>
<p>The new site hosts an event calendar for listing financial events that can be updated as needed by HG staff.  Facebook and YouTube have been integrated into the site. RevenFlo educated HG on the use of Facebook as a marketing tool and provided a social media strategy. <h3>About Catawba Care</h3>
<p>Established in 1994 as Catawba Care Coalition, the agency has seen many mergers and expansions over the years. Each one leading toward the respected and valued provider of comprehensive HIV/AIDS prevention and care, known today as <a href="http://catawbacare.org/" target="_blank">Catawba Care</a>. The not-for-profit organization, a United Way funded agency, operates with a dedicated and caring staff of 22 full-time and 3 part-time employees. They are experts in providing educational and medical resource information about HIV/AIDS. And they are passionate about promoting optimal health for York, Chester and Lancaster County residents. As an organization built on values of compassion, commitment, diversity, excellence, and integrity, Catawba Care felt their website could no longer accurately represent their mission.</p>
<h3>Nature of the Situation</h3>
<p>Unfortunately, prevention and treatment of HIV/AIDS remains a healthcare concern. The need for Catawba Care to effectively deliver educational information is critical to the health of the communities they serve. The staff is focused on caring for the needs of the community and the individual person but reaching those in need of education as well as those in need of medical care was an increasing challenge. Their old website did not allow for content updates without creating havoc to formatting. Nor did it allow integration with social media like Facebook and YouTube. Catawba Care needed a new site for marketing purposes that could be easily updated, integrated, and one that could double as an outreach to the community they are dedicated to serving.</p>
<h3>Nature of the Solution</h3>
<p>Under RevenFlo Web Team’s professional direction, students at <a href="http://hiveu.me/" target="_blank">The Hive</a> began developing a new website for Catawba Care in fall 2011. Visions for the new site included informative videos, interactive forms, social media interaction, and written text presented in a thoughtful, welcoming format. The new, robust website would allow for easy updating of medical services, educational information including a myth busting column, calendar events, volunteer opportunities, and a form page which allows visitors an opportunity to &#8216;Ask the Expert&#8217; and view answers to FAQ.</p>
<h3>Results</h3>
<p>Hive students hit a home run in creating a WordPress website showcasing Catawba Care’s mission. The new site highlights their efforts to prevent HIV/AIDS, and, to provide medical care and support services for people living with HIV/AIDS. The site is welcoming and thoroughly educational. Content is written with compassion urging visitors to take responsible action for their health while offering confidential support. The site allows staff to easily integrate with social media sites such as YouTube and Facebook. Content updates also occur with ease allowing staff the ability (without formatting breakdown) to update educational information and maintain a calendar of events.</p>
<p>Catawba Care&#8217;s mission to educate the community about the prevention and spread of HIV is explicit throughout the site. The site&#8217;s refreshed, professional appearance, ease of navigation, and ability to grow with the needs of Catawba Care bring renewed energy to the valuable work they do. It is a viable marketing tool that doubles as an excellent outreach to the community giving individuals a confidential forum to ask questions and learn about services available to them and their loved ones.</p>

Nor did it effectively portray the company&#8217;s personal and professional commitment to client service. CIIG&#8217;s needed a more robust website. A new site with an up-to-date style, rich in content, with ease of use and improved marketing ability. After carefully listening to CIIG concerns and needs (step one in the web team process), <a href="http://revenflo.com" target="_blank">RevenFlo Web Team</a> professionals designed a fresh, new, customized website.</p>
<h3>Nature of the Solution</h3>
<p>Using a WordPress content management system, RevenFlo developed a content rich site that is easy to navigate. The new site shows a refreshed brand identity. It is also personalized with CIIG&#8217;s history and mission as well as employee images including a rotating banner image featuring client testimonials.</p>
<p>Being able to update material on their website was important to CIIG. One of the benefits of WordPress is its ease of content and marketing management. The new site gives CIIG the flexibility to add and change content. <p>York Road Elementary School 5th grade teacher, Derek McQuiston, has a dream so big it simply won&#8217;t fit in a traditional learning environment. Heralded by many as a pioneer, Derek McQuiston created <a href="http://classwithoutwalls.com/" target="_blank">Classroom Without Walls</a> with a mission to introduce students to field-based experiences where they can connect classroom learning to real life. The length of a typical school day is another mold Derek is breaking. Much of the field-based experiences he organizes, like the science-based kayak trip his students took last fall, occur after school and sometimes on the weekend. So what kid is going to sign up for extra school time? The ones Derek gets a hold of because they can&#8217;t help but become enthusiastic about what they are learning!</p>
<p>One of Derek McQuistion&#8217;s immediate desires is see his vision extend to both 4th and 6th grade classes at York Road Elementary. Ultimately, he would like to see his &#8216;Big Dream&#8217; empower other educators. Encouraging them to be creative and use their teaching instincts to challenge traditional teaching norms. Derek knows he is fortunate to have the support of York Road Elementary School and parents. However, this monumental, inspirational and timely vision needs a big voice if it is to go from a grass roots effort to standard procedure.</p>
<h3>Nature of the Situation</h3>
<p>Classroom Without Walls (CWOW) is a pilot project spearheaded by 5th Grade teacher, Derek McQuiston. With the start of the 2011 &#8211; 2012 academic year, Derek began implementing CWOW concepts into the structure of his students&#8217; school day. One of his goals is to grow the program beyond his 5th grade class starting with 4th and 6th grade classes at York Road Elementary. He was looking for a way to document his experience, as well as, and perhaps more importantly, share his experience with other educators and the community. Derek knows first hand how to use technology as a powerfully informative and captivating teaching tool. He knew the Internet would provide an ideal way for him to share his story. Funding for a website, however, was not in the budget.</p>
<h3>Nature of the Solution</h3>
<p>RevenFlo Web Team met Derek through their work with <a href="http://oureducationvision.com/" target="_blank">Our Education Vision</a>, a collaborative project with South Carolina Schools (SCASA). Quickly seeing the potential of Classroom Without Walls, RevenFlo knew just what Derek needed &#8211; presence on the Internet. As managers of <a href="http://hiveu.me/" target="_blank">The Hive</a>, RevenFlo introduced Derek to the free website work Hive students do for community non-profits. During fall 2011, Hive students designed and developed a blog website for the Classroom Without Walls project. Flickr and YouTube where integrated into the site creating an avenue for automatic postings. Hive students also introduced a WordPress App that allows Derek&#8217;s 5th grade students to add their posts to the blog site directly from their iPads. The newly launched site gives Derek McQuiston a versatile marketing platform, one he can use to showcase the impact his big dream is having on his class. The freedom his students have been given to post their experiences adds authenticity as well as a valuable means for measuring the projects success.</p>
<h3>Results</h3>
<p>The Blogging site allows Derek to show how core ideas of Classroom Without Walls like creative use of technology, instructional design, and, methods of day-to-day instruction, serve to unlock kids&#8217; curiosity and get them excited about learning. York County School educators and parents are able to follow Derek and his students as they explore a new style of learning. Once there, you&#8217;ll quickly understand why he whole heartedly believes a classroom is more than desks and walls. <p>Becca Ebersole, founder of Friends of York County Animal Shelter (FYCAS), is a native of York County. With a deep desire to care for animals, she found what she hoped would be a meaningful outlet for her growing passion through volunteer work at a York County Animal Shelter. She quickly realized that animals housed at the shelter needed more than love, they needed an advocate. In an effort to save animals who would otherwise not leave the shelters alive, Becca established <a href="http://fycas.com/" target="_blank">Friends of York County Animal Shelter (FYCAS)</a> in 2011. Today, thanks to FYCAS, animal adoption rates in York County have doubled (and tripled at times). In collaboration with York County Animal Shelter, FYCAS cares for, grooms, trains, and spays/neuters dogs and cats. Their ongoing objective is to find loving homes for every stray dog and cat at the shelter.</p>
<h3>Nature of the Situation</h3>
<p>Through word-of-mouth and a well-liked Facebook page, FYCAS has seen animal adoption rates improve in York County. But as long as there are pets without a home, Becca Ebersole continues to see an unfulfilled need. Demand for these homeless dogs and cats is simply not keeping up with the ever increasing supply. Word-of-mouth and Facebook were not making a significant enough impact. What FYCAS needed was a more robust marketing source. One that was customized around their brand, where they could feature their homeless pets and stories of compassion. Unfortunately, the all volunteer agency, like many non profits, was limited by a scarcity of funds.</p>
<h3>Nature of the Solution</h3>
<p>Friends of York County Animal Shelter (FYCAS) found a welcomed solution to their marketing problem in a local, high tech, education program. <a href="http://hiveu.me/" target="_blank">The Hive</a>, in Rock Hill, under professional guidance of RevenFlo Web Team, embraced FYCAS as one of their Fall 2011 projects. Over the course of the semester, students designed and developed a website specifically addressing the needs of York County&#8217;s stray dogs and cats. Since the website&#8217;s December 2011 launch, FYCAS has seen their adoption rates double. The new website provides a platform for Becca to showcase urgent pet adoption needs as well as heart warming pictures of successful pet adoptions. The interactive site supports online donations, an online gift store, and educational information for future volunteers including a foster pet parent program.</p>
<h3>Results</h3>
<p>Friends of York County Animal Shelter grew out of one woman&#8217;s love for animals. With help from The Hive, the new <a href="http://fycas.com/" target="_blank">FYCAS.com</a> website gives Becca Ebersole and our fury friends in York County a greater chance at creating more success stories. Armed with a customized marketing platform, FYCAS is experiencing an increase in pet adoption rates. With a goal to have every stray leave York County Animal Shelter with tails wagging, FYCAS&#8217;s website positions them toward greater success. RevenFlo Web Team is pleased to offer professional internet marketing services to the non-profit community through The Hive. We wish FYCAS continued growth.</p>

Their 25 highly trained employees, many of whom live within the communities they serve, are committed to the company&#8217;s mission; delivering value to customers with honesty and integrity.</p>
<p>Climatech has been providing professional, quality service for a decade. Their exceptional knowledge and attention to building long term customer relationships has earned them an A+ rating from the Charlotte BBB. Never ready to rest on their accomplishments, Climatech continually looks for opportunities to improve their business.</p>
<h3>Nature of the Situation</h3>
<p>Five years ago, Climatech approached RevenFlo with a desire to build a company website. After careful listening and collaboration, RevenFlo created a customized WordPress website that measured up to Climatech expectations. Now, five years later, the website continues to perform well; however, the company&#8217;s expectations have grown. Climatech wants to update their site without losing their brand recognition. Key elements to consider for the update included a more personal appearance/experience, and, an ability for clients to take action via the website &#8211; creating potential for lead generation.</p>
<h3>Nature of the Solution</h3>
<p>Knowing that Climatech wanted to stay true to the &#8220;look&#8221; of the original website, RevenFlo approached this project with a new design; one that would refresh the site without giving it a total facelift. To make the site more personal, stock photos were replaced with images of Climatech employees. Forms were also added creating an easy avenue for new as well as existing customers to contact Climatech. RevenFlo Web Team added a feature which allows customer reviews posted on Google and Yelp to be published directly to Climatech&#8217;s website; providing greater credibility to an already well-respected company. A new WordPress theme was also introduce which enhanced the websites overall appearance. Giving it a fresh, updated look without loss of brand identity.</p>
<h3>Results</h3>
<p>The website created five years ago for Climatech Heating and Cooling, Inc. is still performing well and looking better than ever. Now, when customers visit the site, they see the faces of service technicians who may call on their home. They also have a face to go with the voice of their customer service rep. A contact form with a special offer appears on pages throughout the site enabling Climatech an opportunity to secure new leads with a target audience &#8211; clients who are actually interested in the service they provide. Personal testimonies uploaded to their home page from satisfied clients reinforce Climatech&#8217;s message of providing exceptional service. A new look with a timeless message!
