This weekend Rock Hill celebrated the fifth annual Don’t Sweat It Fest, and two members of the RevenTeam played in the festival with their bands. Our Account Manager Josiah Blevins sang with his band Gasp on Friday night, and on Saturday night he played guitar with his band Mall Goth. When asked about this year’s DSIF, Josiah said, “This was definitely one of the best years yet. All the bands brought extra high energy and enthusiasm to their shows.”
Chris, Designer & Videographer, played guitar with his band Young Tom Fury. This was a reunion show for the band, who started playing together in 1999 (ish) and broke up in 2003. The band has only played a couple of shows since their break up. “This was the longest time we’ve gone without playing together, and it officially felt like Dad Rock.” When asked about the festival, Chris said, “I think DSIF is the crown jewel of Rock Hill, and this year had a ton of great bands. I had an amazing time, and I’m just super grateful that it happens, and grateful to Mike Gentry for bringing us all together.”
Thumbs up to Mike Gentry and all the supporters of Don’t Sweat It Fest, and especially to Josiah & Chris. We think you guys are rad.
