Jason Broadwater has been elected to the board of the Charlotte-area nonprofit organization ASPIRE Community Capital. ASPIRE works with undercapitalized entrepreneurs from underserved populations to provide both lending (where traditional lending is not available) and technical business services in strategy, marketing, business development, and small business financial literacy. The organization has an innovative loan fund program that multiplies the impact of any donated dollars by 10 times (due to relationships with traditional lending institutions). ASPIRE has served over 1500 small and micro businesses to date.
