Renew Our Community (RenewOC), a non-profit company based in York County, bridges the gap between those in need and community service organizations. As unemployment numbers have risen in recent years, basic needs for food, clothing, and shelter have increased as well. With these increases, RenewOC is experiencing greater challenges to meeting their mission.
RenewOC came to RevenFlo and The Hive seeking solutions to their problems. RevenFlo saw an opportunity for RenewOC to improve their outreach capabilities through an improved web presence. With that goal in mind, Hive students are creating a new website for RenewOC at no cost to the non-profit.
The project is a win win for all. Hive students, under RevenFlo’s guidance, gain practical website design and development experience. RenewOC, with an improved website, will be able to better market their services online and ultimately empower community leaders to pool resources for those in need.
