Through our project The Local Pickup, we produce long form conversation videos with guitar manufacturers (or sometimes just about cool guitars).
We were fortunate to do such a video with Novo Guitars out of Nashville, TN. Novo is based on the designs of Denis Fano – a contemporary guitar designer whose status as a legend in his own time has recently been solidified by being chosen by the Atlanta Museum of Design (along with only Leo Fender and Paul Reid Smith) as one of three guitar designers to represent the history of guitar design.
We sat down with Matthew Timmons – general manager of Novo Guitars – and had a great conversation about making guitars in todays world.
