The Spring 2012 Hive program worked The Davidson Housing Coalition, a non-for-profit organization to create a new website, which maximizes their participation online. As part of the on-going program, a collaboration of design and development students from Winthrop University and York Technical College created the site from the ground up at no cost to the organization. The Davidson Housing Coalition has provided affordable housing to low-income citizens of Davidson, NC since 1997. Through the new site, users can apply for housing, receive financial education, and even apply for home repair services.
