DNC Chairs Speak Up for ALF Charlotte Region

Dr. Dan Murrey, CEO- OrthoCarolina, Spine surgeon, DNC 2012 Host Committee Director, and Robyn Hamilton, DNC 2012 Director of Business Relations, have more than one impressive professional connection in common. In addition to their leadership roles in preparing Charlotte for the upcoming Democratic National Convention, both are alumni of the American Leadership Forum (ALF) – Charlotte Region Chapter.

ALF is a leadership mentoring program supported by the Lee Institute of Charlotte, NC. Their commitment to serving the public good is accomplished by strengthening established leaders through Fellow and Senior Fellow programs. Many pivotal leaders within Charlotte including 14 surrounding regions in North and South Carolina are ALF alums. Dr. Murrey and Robyn Hamilton are the first in a series of interviews featuring ALF’s alumni. The Hive in Rock Hill SC, an Internet development and design think tank, is working with ALF to create a web video for marketing purposes. Hive students plan to interview 5 to 10 community leaders, edit together a compelling story, and launch a high caliber, cost free website for ALF later this spring.

The Hive and RevenFlo Web Team, managers of Hive projects, thank Dr. Murrey and Robyn Hamilton for their recent interview. Their knowledge, professionalism, and approachable nature speak highly of the leadership within our local community, DNC and ALF.
