We are proud to announce a new project with the National Institute of Minority Economic Development (NIMED). Headquartered in Durham, NC, NIMED works to strengthen the asset base of diverse populations through policy, education, and economic opportunities.
NIMED operates several programs in order to achieve this . Institute Capital (ICAP) provides microloans, bridge loans, and term loans to benefit low-to-moderate income communities and individuals. The Institute Community Development Initiative (ICDI) facilitates community development, financial education, access to capital, and pathways to homeownership by strategically assembling and investing funds in community development organizations across North Carolina. NIMED also manages and promotes several women- and minority-focused business centers across the southeast, as well as providing consulting services aligned with mission.
Over the next few months, RevenFlo will be redesigning NIMED’s new website to more clearly articulate their offerings and objectives. We will also be producing a video series about the NIMED programs that will live on their website and be marketed on social media.
